A 68-year-old man has passed away after crashing into a parked trailer while cycling in Whitby, according to police.
Durham police and paramedics responded to the scene near Coronation Road and Lyndebrook Road at around 12:30 p. m. on Friday.
The cyclist was taken to a trauma centre in Toronto, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities report that the cyclist was heading north on Coronation when the incident took place. The exact reason for the crash is still under investigation.
