Two individuals were saved from a boat that struck the Toronto shoreline along Lake Ontario early on Sunday morning.
The Marine Unit of the Toronto Police Service received a call about the incident in the Humber Bay Park area shortly after 5 a. m. when reports came in of a boat that had crashed onto the rocks.
A man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s were rescued and taken to a hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities are still trying to figure out what caused the crash. An investigation is currently underway.
