Assault reported near Villa and Cumberland
Officers from the Primary Response Unit responded to the area of Villa Street and Cumberland Street North shortly after 12:45 p. m. on July 1, 2026, following reports of an ongoing assault. Police found one suspect at the scene. That person was arrested and charged with assault. A victim received treatment from Superior North EMS and was taken to the hospital for further care. Authorities report that the injuries are not life-threatening.Investigation remains ongoing
