The police in St Thomas have taken a teenager into custody following the discovery of ammunition during a raid on Saturday.
According to reports, around 10:45 a. m., law enforcement carried out a surprise operation in the Stilt district close to Port Morant, St Thomas.
During this action, the suspect, who works as a security guard, was stopped and searched.
They found fourteen rounds of nine-millimeter cartridges on him.
The individual was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized possession of ammunition.
The Morant Bay Criminal Investigation Branch is looking into the case.
