With a heavy heart, I share the news of David Peter Mozell’s passing. He was a loving husband to Maureen Mozell. Dave left us at the age of 82 on June 23, 2026. Born on September 4, 1943 in Port Arthur, he was the only child of Peter and Anne Mozell. Dave had a passion for the outdoors; he loved camping, fishing, and snowmobiling. He enjoyed country music too, especially songs by Waylon Jennings. At one point, he and his friends formed a local band named “Dave and the Gents”. He cherished his trips to both the East Coast and out West. For many years, Dave worked as a heavy-duty mechanic. His wife Maureen will feel his absence deeply. According to Dave’s wishes, there will be no funeral or celebration of life.
May tender memories soften my grief
May fond recollection bring me relief
And may I find comfort and peace
in the thought of the joy
knowing you loved me
which time and space can never divide
Or keep you from my side.
When memory paints in colours true,
the happy hours that belonged to me.
