UPDATE, 2:50 p. m.: Authorities have spotted a light-coloured sedan that could be connected to the early morning shooting in Markham, according to York Regional Police media relations officer Const. James Dickson.
While a similar vehicle may also relate to shots fired in Aurora following the Markham incident, police are still looking into whether the two events are linked, he mentioned.

Shooting occurred at a home in a Markham neighbourhood early this morning.
An incident involving unknown shooters took place near Lee Avenue and Kennedy Road around 1:43 a. m. on June 26, as reported by York Regional Police on social media.
No injuries have been reported.
Authorities continue their investigation at the scene.
