Peel police report that a man was declared dead at the site after allegedly falling into a construction pit at an industrial location.
A man has lost his life after falling into a construction hole in Brampton on Monday afternoon, according to police.
The incident took place on Kennedy Road South near Clarence Street, just south of Queen Street East.
Peel Regional Police stated they received a call about the industrial accident shortly before 4 p. m.
“On arrival, first responders tended to an adult male who sadly died at the scene despite their best efforts,” they told Toronto.
Peel Regional Paramedic Services mentioned that they also responded to the area and assessed one adult, but did not transport anyone to the hospital.

Police indicated that the scene has been secured and that the Ontario Ministry of Labour will be conducting an investigation with their assistance as necessary.
