Steven Paul Raby, 58, died on February 11, 2023. He was born on July 3, 1964, in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. He grew up in Montreal and later moved to the US for college.

Steven earned his BS in Industrial Engineering and Industrial Marketing from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. He also received an MBA focused on Investments/Finance and Marketing from The University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

His work with Stryker Canada brought him to Little Rock, AR where he became the sales manager of Omnimedics and met his wife Elaine. After being promoted to Regional Manager, they relocated to Jacksonville/Ponte Vedra Beach. Steven was dedicated to raising their four kids. He shared his love for Canadian culture-like maple syrup, snowy winters, and hockey-with family and friends. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing in Canada as well as biking to the beach in Ponte Vedra. His cooking skills were a hit with everyone around him; his family recipes will always be remembered. From race car driving adventures to polar plunges, he embraced life fully. Steven made every holiday special through thoughtful planning and effort. We’ll miss his lively phone calls where he spoke French with family back in Canada.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Elaine; sons Chris Kane (Chelsea), Addison Kane, Paul Raby; daughter Mary Elizabeth Raby; grandchildren Bennett and Darby Rose; father Paul L. Raby; brothers Michel Raby and Pierre Raby; sister Carolyn Raby (Andre La Rocque); along with many cherished nieces, nephews, family members and friends. His mother Linda Fitzpatrick Raby passed away before him.

A Catholic Funeral Service will take place at 11 a. m., Friday, February 17, 2023 at Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home located at 3600 Third Street South in Jacksonville Beach, FL with Parochial Vicar Christopher Knight officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
