BURLINGTON, ON

Things didn’t quite go as planned for Rory Nisan at the Oakville Film Festival. He arrived dressed in a suit and tie, hoping for a chance to speak.

MP Effie Triantafilopoulos and MPP Natalie Pierre each took their turn at the podium.

Ward 3 Councillor Rory Nisan. Wants to be Mayor.

The Mayor, Meed Ward, participated virtually and shared her comments.

Unfortunately for Rory, he only received a brief mention and was left with just a chance to wave from his seat.

He decided not to stick around for most of the OFFA presentation.

Nisan is currently focused on his campaign efforts.
