The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have taken a Whitby man into custody, charging him with allegedly using technology to exploit children sexually.
On May 12, OPP investigators carried out a search warrant at a home in Whitby and confiscated several electronic devices.
Mario Sultana, 67 years old, was arrested and charged with agreeing to commit a sexual offense against someone under the age of 16, as well as producing child sexual abuse and exploitation material.
Following a bail hearing, Sultana was released from custody and is set to appear in court on June 12.
