Authorities report that a coyote bit a two-year-old boy in the face during an unprovoked incident at a playground in Whitby, Ont., on Sunday evening.
Officers from Durham Region were called to help an ambulance at Vanier Park around 8:30 p. m. after the coyote entered the playground and attacked the boy before his guardian and nearby adults managed to scare it away.
