A serious car accident took place on Highway 407 in Whitby, close to Thickson Road North, where a single vehicle hit the guardrail and rolled onto its side. Consequently, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) had to shut down the eastbound lanes between Thickson Road and Baldwin Street South. The driver, who was alone in the car, suffered injuries and was airlifted to a trauma center by ORNGE air ambulance.

This incident shows how crucial road safety is and how severe outcomes can happen even with single-vehicle accidents. For anyone involved in similar situations, talking to experienced personal injury lawyers can help clarify your legal options.
