The Windsor Police Service has charged a 15-year-old boy from Ontario after reports emerged that he sexually assaulted two girls and physically assaulted a third girl in a home located in Windsor, Ont.

Shortly after noon on Wednesday, officers responded to a call about a sexual assault at a residence on the 1500 block of Moy Avenue, according to a news release from Windsor police.

Three girls, aged 11, 13, and 16, met with the suspect at Lanspeary Park before going to the house together, police stated.

Once inside the house, authorities allege that the suspect forced all three girls to drink alcohol.

Police mentioned that he then sexually assaulted the 11-year-old victim.

“The 16-year-old victim, who had become heavily impaired, was then taken to a separate room and sexually assaulted as well,” the release said.

The 13-year-old girl attempted to step in during the assault but was pushed out of the room by the suspect who “locked or blocked the door,” according to police.

Eventually, all three victims managed to intervene and escaped from the house.

Patrol officers quickly arrived at the scene and were able to identify and arrest the suspect at a park near Hall Avenue and Shepherd Avenue.

This 15-year-old boy cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act and is facing charges including two counts of sexual assault, one count of sexual interference, one count of forcible confinement and three counts of assault.

A woman aged 37 was also arrested for obstructing an officer and resisting arrest.

Her identity is withheld as revealing it could disclose information about the youth accused.

If anyone has more information regarding this case, they are encouraged to contact Windsor Police Service or reach out to their child abuse and sexual assault unit.
