Heal Wellness continues to grow as consumers increasingly seek out wellness-oriented QSR concepts in both urban and suburban areas. With strong brand recognition, an adaptable format, and a growing franchise pipeline, Heal is set to expand its presence throughout Ontario and other important regions across Canada.

“Opening Heal in Whitby marks another milestone in our Ontario expansion strategy,” said Sean Black, Chief Executive Officer of Happy Belly Food Group. “Whitby represents a strong community-focused market with great demographic fundamentals and ongoing residential growth. It also sees consistent daily traffic from families, professionals, students, commuters, and health-conscious individuals. Situated in the heart of Durham Region, Whitby enjoys established neighborhoods alongside developing communities and excellent commuter access via major transportation routes serving the greater GTA area. The area’s mix of residential density combined with schools and fitness facilities supports steady foot traffic all day long which aligns perfectly with Heal’s convenient grab-and-go offerings. These features make Whitby an ideal fit for Heal and strengthen our confidence in the brand’s sustainable long-term performance.”
