A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a 34-year-old man from Whitby, who is wanted for allegedly taking off his GPS ankle bracelet.
York Regional Police reported that in 2019, officers started looking into an armed home invasion robbery. The suspect was later found guilty and released by the courts while he awaited sentencing.

“He was placed on several conditions, including house arrest and a condition to wear a GPS ankle bracelet at all times,” police said in a news release.
