A man from Waterloo has been charged with several offenses after his arrest at the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center.
According to Seneca County Sheriff Timothy Thompson, 56-year-old Arcangel Soler was taken into custody around 10 p. m. on Friday. He faces charges of Harassment in the second degree, a violation, and Criminal Tampering in the third degree, a misdemeanor.
The Sheriff’s Office reported that the arrest followed an incident where Soler allegedly caused minor injuries to another individual by making unwanted physical contact. While being held for the harassment charge, deputies noted that Soler was also charged with criminal tampering after he urinated on the floor in the deputies’ area inside the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center.
Soler has since been handed over to corrections and is set to appear in CAP Court for his arraignment.
New York State Police provided assistance at the scene.
