Traffic is heavily delayed on Highway 401 near Highway 8 in Cambridge following a crash involving three vehicles, leading police to advise motorists to steer clear of the area.
All eastbound lanes of Highway 401 are shut down in that location, according to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Sgt. Kerry Schmidt.
“Three vehicles involved, a dump truck rolled over.. we will have significant clean up to attend to,” Schmidt said in a video posted to X.
Two individuals were taken to the hospital, one suffering from minor injuries and another with more serious injuries.
Schmidt mentioned that cleanup efforts could take several hours.
