A Burlington man is dealing with a number of charges after allegedly main police on a chase by Wasaga Seashore and Clearview yesterday morning. 

Shortly after 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, Huronia West OPP says an officer tried to cease a sedan that was allegedly rushing on Sunnidale Street South in Wasaga Seashore.

Earlier than the officer might strategy the car, police say the driver fled.

“Shortly after, the black sedan was intercepted and stopped by officers whereas travelling eastbound on Freeway 26 in Clearview Township,” OPP acknowledged in a information launch. 

The motive force was taken into custody with out incident, police say.

A 28-year-old Burlington man has been charged with flight from a peace officer, harmful operation of a motorized vehicle, failure to adjust to a launch order, failure to adjust to a probation order, possession of a solid doc with intent, driving whereas underneath suspension, rushing, plate obstruction and use of a plate not licensed for the car.

Not one of the allegations have been examined in courtroom. 

The accused is being held for a bail listening to at the moment on the Ontario Courtroom of Justice in Barrie.
