You could call this a hat trick at the Olympics.
You bet three famous alumni of this renowned Greater Toronto Hockey League club rose to the occasion during Canada’s thrilling quarterfinal comeback victory over Czechia, winning 4-3 at the Olympics. p>
Now Canada is set to face Finland in Friday’s semifinals. The winner will vie for gold on Sunday against either the United States or Slovakia. The team that loses will play for bronze. p>
Scoring that game-winning goal in extra time, “Magic” Mitch Marner delivered another stunning performance wearing that maple leaf. Meanwhile, Jordan “Bar the Door” Binnington stopped every puck he faced while Thomas “Hip Check” Harley held strong on defense. p>

The stars representing GTA and Ontario were pivotal in securing Canada’s victory at Wednesday’s Olympic match against a determined Czech team , which almost pulled off an upset. p>
That was one epic hockey game. The negative aspect was seeing captain Sidney Crosby leave early due to injury , but what stood out positively was how this team fought through adversity without giving up – just like true Canadians do.
