York Regional Police are looking into another shooting that took place at the same house in Vaughan for the fourth time in five months.

Authorities were alerted to the property on Allison Ann Way shortly before 8:30 a. m. Monday due to a shooting.

It’s reported that a dark colored SUV arrived at the residence, and a male suspect wearing a dark hoodie fired several shots at the home. The vehicle was then seen speeding away eastbound on Queen Filomena Avenue.

Const. James Dickson shared with reporters that there were people inside during the shooting and expressed concern for the neighborhood, considering this is now the fourth incident involving this particular home.

“Even more concerning is that since the time of the last shooting here, new people have moved in,” he mentioned, noting that these new residents have been living there for less than a month.

He confirmed that this incident is targeted and isolated, assuring there’s no threat to public safety. The earlier shootings happened on Sept. 7, Sept. 24, and Oct. 27 of last year. Fortunately, no injuries occurred in any of these four shootings and no arrests have been made so far.

Dickson indicated that more patrols will be present in the area, and investigators will be going door-to-door seeking any available surveillance or dashcam footage.

The roads nearby are likely to stay closed for an extended period while investigations continue.

If anyone has information or video footage regarding this incident, they are urged to contact York Regional Police.
