A man from Mississauga has been arrested in the northeastern United States for his involvement in a double murder that happened in Vaughan almost two years ago.
York Regional Police report that 29-year-old Kensworth Alton Francis faces two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder related to the deaths of Tosin Amos-Arowoshegbe, 25, from Toronto, and Chibueze Momah, 22, from Mississauga.
Another woman was shot but managed to survive.

Francis was apprehended by the U. S. Marshals Service in Hartford, Connecticut earlier this week. Authorities are collaborating with the Ministry of the Attorney General to bring him back to York Region.
The arrest relates to a deadly shooting at a nightclub in Vaughan that occurred in July 2022. Officers found two men and a woman with gunshot injuries following an altercation. At that time, investigators indicated that both men were security guards at the venue.
Police state they have been actively pursuing leads through the Bolo Program, receiving assistance from the RCMP INTERPOL Fugitive Apprehension Support Team and the United States Marshals Service.
