A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Vaughan Saturday evening.

Ontario Provincial Police report that the incident took place just before 7 p. m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 400 near Rutherford Road.

Authorities say the motorcyclist, a 43-year-old from Wasaga Beach, hit the back of a pickup truck and was then struck by another vehicle.

No other injuries have been reported, and police indicate that no one involved has faced charges related to the accident.

Witnesses told police they saw the motorcyclist driving “aggressively” before colliding with another vehicle.

<p. All lanes of Highway 400 approaching Rutherford Road were closed for several hours Saturday night while police conducted their investigation. They reopened early Sunday, as reported on social media by police.
