Just under two weeks after Flying Tiger opened its first Canadian store at Toronto’s Eaton Centre, the fun Scandinavian brand has revealed plans for a second location just north of the city at Vaughan Mills.
Since starting in 1995, this Danish brand has built a dedicated following by offering cute and affordable home items like strawberry-shaped mugs and an array of colorful kitchen tools. In fact, 80 percent of their products are priced at $10 or less.
Shoppers lined up for hours before Flying Tiger’s eagerly anticipated June 26 opening at Eaton Centre to fill their baskets with quirky goods that have made the store popular over the last thirty years.
Soon, Toronto’s largest mall won’t be the only spot in the GTA where you can enjoy what Flying Tiger has to offer.
This Monday morning, the brand shared on social media that it will be opening another location-filled with “colourful little things, useful surprises, and finds you didn’t know you needed”-at Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre on July 10.
And that’s not all. A Linked In post indicates that the brand aims to open at least 50 stores across Canada by 2030, and judging by their recent pace of launching two Ontario locations in less than a month, they seem well on track to achieve that goal.
If you’re looking to decorate your apartment but are on a tight budget (say, only have $50), there are plenty of fun items you can grab without overspending.

Besides the new Flying Tiger store, there’s plenty happening at Vaughan Mills these days. In June, Playdium launched its largest venue in the mall featuring a gel blaster arena and glow-in-the-dark augmented reality duckpin bowling.
