US President Donald Trump announced that a significant agreement with Iran is basically “over” due to increasing military tensions in the Middle East.

While speaking at a NATO summit in Turkey, Mr. Trump stated that ongoing diplomatic efforts with Tehran were “a waste of time,” indicating a clear signal that the Memorandum of Understanding between the two nations has failed.

These remarks came after Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps took responsibility for attacks on US military locations in Bahrain and Kuwait, claiming they were retaliation for prior American strikes on Iranian facilities.

Mr. Trump sharply condemned Iran’s actions, accusing them of breaching a ceasefire by attacking commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

“They’re dirty players,” he said.

The US President also used strong language against Iran, calling its leadership “evil” and insisting that Washington should move away from negotiations.

“We have to rid their cancer,” Mr. Trump said. “You’ve got to cut out cancer early. And that’s the way I feel.”

“I don’t want to deal with them any more; they’re scum.”

Mr. Trump’s statements suggest the administration is stepping further away from diplomatic solutions as regional tensions keep escalating.
