Ilhan Omar after Vice President JD Vance accused her of immigration fraud. In response to a clip from a Newsmax interview where Benny Johnson discussed Vance’s accusations against Omar, this semi-autonomous region posted on X (Twitter): “Deportation? Please you’re just sending the princess back to her kingdom. Extradition? Say the word…” Johnson, a notable MAGA influencer, spoke with Vance over the weekend and raised claims about widespread fraud within Minnesota’s Somali community – stirred up earlier this year by conservative You Tuber Nick Shirley – before addressing Congresswoman Omar directly. “The president and the White House have been out saying that she married her brother, that there is immigration fraud going on here,” Johnson stated. “These are deportable, denaturalization offences; can you give us an update on that?” Vice President JD Vance accuses Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of engaging in immigration fraud during a new interview with MAGA influencer Benny Johnson (The Benny Show) The vice president replied: “Yeah, so we actually think that Ilhan Omar definitely committed immigration fraud against the United States of America.” “And I talked to Stephen Miller about this actually recently, and we’re trying to look at what the remedies are.” “That’s what we’re trying to figure out: what are the legal remedies now that we know she’s committed immigration fraud – how do you go after her, how do you investigate her, how do you actually build a case necessary for some justice for American people?” He continued: “There’s another issue here Benny; she has been at center stage with many of those involved in major fraud schemes within Somali community. So do I know if Ilhan Omar was aware that Quality Learning Center [in Minneapolis] was defrauding America? “I’m not certain about it but we need at least investigate because if people can commit wrongdoing without any fear of being caught; that’s a fundamental problem.” Rep. Omar – born in Mogadishu, Somalia but a U. S. citizen since 2000 – has long faced attacks regarding her background and remains a target for Republicans due in part because she actively fights back against President Donald Trump. When he insulted her at a rally in December, she responded on X saying “Trump’s obsession with me is beyond weird. He needs serious help.”

“Since he has no economic policies worth mentioning he resorts instead to repeating bigoted lies. He continues being an embarrassment nationally.”
Reacting to VP Vance’s recent comments about her Rep. Omar’s chief aide Connor Mc Nutt described his statements as “a ridiculous lie.”
“This is quite rich coming from someone who openly said they were ready ‘to create stories’ just so they could divert media attention,” he added.
“This accusation is absurd and serves as desperate distraction from their party’s unpopular choices like escalating gas prices and sinking poll numbers.”
The Independent has contacted both White House officials and Rep. Omar’s office seeking further comments.
A Newsmax interview where Somaliland reacted featured an animated Johnson claiming Minnesota’s fraud allegations “makes my blood boil as an American taxpayer,” insisting that “the country is going over a cliff,” cautioning against allowing individuals deemed “not harmonious with Western civilization” into America as they would “loot our nation dry.”
“Get her out,” anchor Rob Schmitt remarked concerning Rep. Omar while both men concurred that these accusations were “mind-boggling.”
