Jamal Murray is no stranger to having impressive offensive nights this season.
Yet, Game 1 showed that he can step up when it matters most for the Nuggets in playoffs.
Murray ended with a game-high of 30 points and was perfect from the free throw line at 16-for-16.
His three-point shooting wasn’t great-going 0-for-8-but he made up for it by exploiting gaps in Minnesota’s defense for mid-range shots and drawing fouls, which worked out well for him.
Nikola Jokic also made his mark with a solid triple-double, finishing with stats of 25 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists.
