A 22-year-old man from London has been charged after a car accident in south London early Tuesday morning resulted in a woman’s death.
Tristen Daniel Legault is facing charges for impaired operation causing death and dangerous operation causing death.
Emergency responders arrived at the 600-block of Upper Queen Street around 1:20 a. m. on Tuesday following reports of a severe single-vehicle crash.
Authorities stated that a female passenger was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries but unfortunately passed away later. Her identity has not yet been disclosed.
Legault was taken into custody at the scene. He is set to appear in court again at the end of November.
