The police stated that the rider, a 36-year-old man, was struck by a vehicle while on the road. The driver of that vehicle stayed at the scene.

Initially, police indicated that the man’s injuries were serious. Shortly after, paramedics reported he was taken to a trauma centre and is now in stable condition.
