Help Needed to Find Stolen Truck and Assault Suspect

Help Needed to Find Stolen Truck and Assault Suspect

Norfolk County OPP is seeking assistance from the public to find a truck tractor that was taken from a property on Jackson Side Road close to Courtland.

Officers were sent to the area to look into the theft just before 9 p. m. on July 7.

When they arrived, officers found that the truck tractor had been stolen sometime between June 27 and July 7. The vehicle is a yellow 2010 International 70s truck tractor with the license plate CF97080.

The provincial police noted that the truck was fitted with an electronic logging device, and “C. Spence Haulage” is clearly marked on its side.

Police search for assault suspect

The provincial police in Norfolk County have shared photos of a person they’re looking for in relation to an assault investigation taking place in Simcoe.

The officers responded to a location on Colborne Street South around 12:35 p. m. on July 7 after receiving reports of an assault. Once there, they determined that an encounter between two individuals escalated into one person attacking the other.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a white male who has a tattoo on his left arm.

According to police, he was wearing a grey Under Armour T-shirt, blue shorts, and a blue baseball cap when he left the scene on foot following the incident.
