The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has started an investigation following the discovery of human remains in Tillsonburg.
Officers arrived at the scene on Mall Rd. after reports came in around 5 p. m. on New Year’s Eve.
Both Oxford OPP and OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) were present to look into the situation.
Authorities mentioned that a post mortem is planned, which should help identify the individual and determine the cause of death.
