TILLSONBURG – A 38-year-old motorcyclist from Oxford County has lost their life following a crash in Tillsonburg. According to police, the motorcyclist rear-ended an SUV on Simcoe Street around 5:00 p. m. yesterday and was thrown off the bike as a result. They were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries but unfortunately did not survive, while the SUV driver remained uninjured. In a video shared on the OPP West Region X page, Sergeant Ed Sanchuk expressed gratitude to the good Samaritans who stopped to help, noting that they made a tough situation somewhat easier. The investigation is still ongoing, and the OPP is asking anyone who might have seen this incident or has dash cam or outdoor surveillance footage to reach out.
