SIOUX LOOKOUT – Ontario Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout report that a passenger was taken into custody and charged following an incident involving a Wasaya Airways flight from Thunder Bay at the Sioux Lookout Airport.
According to OPP, officers were dispatched to the airport on Jan. 9, 2026, after receiving alerts about potential risks to the safety of individuals aboard the plane. Police claim that a female passenger became aggressive during the flight and assaulted a male passenger.
