Provincial police are looking into a serious highway crash that took the life of a 30-year-old man from St. Thomas on Monday evening in Brant County.
Emergency crews responded to Highway 403 West, close to Paris east of London around 5 p. m., where two transport trucks and a pickup truck collided. Authorities confirmed that the victim was driving one of the transport trucks and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the second transport truck sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital, while the pickup truck driver did not suffer any injuries.
Roads in that area were closed for some time but have now reopened, according to police.
West Region Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are conducting the investigation. They’re urging anyone who may have seen the accident or has dash cam footage or information that could help to reach out to Brant County OPP.
