St. Thomas police are on the lookout for two men they believe are linked to a series of lottery ticket thefts happening in Ontario and Quebec.
According to police, all incidents share a similar pattern, where one man enters businesses to take lottery tickets while the attendant is absent or distracted.
A resident from the Greater Toronto Area, Robert Dobre, 53, is wanted across eight different police jurisdictions for related offenses. He’s facing four charges for failing to comply with a probation order and two counts of theft under $5,000.
Also being sought is Ahmad Alahamd, 54, from Mississauga, who was reportedly driving a white Lexus SUV spotted during the thefts. He faces charges as an accomplice along with two counts of theft under $5,000.
Police stated that both men have warrants issued against them and are currently at large.
