St. Thomas police are on the lookout for two men connected to a series of lottery ticket thefts throughout Ontario and Quebec.
According to authorities, all incidents have been quite similar, with one man entering stores and taking lottery tickets while the attendant was either absent or distracted.
Robert Dobre, 53, from the Greater Toronto Area, is wanted by eight different police forces for similar crimes. He’s facing four counts of failing to comply with a probation order and two counts of theft under $5,000.
The other individual sought is Ahmad Alahamd, 54, from Mississauga, who was reportedly driving a white Lexus SUV spotted during the thefts. He’s charged with being involved in the offense along with two counts of theft under $5,000.
Police stated that both men have warrants out for their arrest and are currently at large.
