$10 Million Lotto Max Winner in Ontario

For the second consecutive draw, someone has won the Lotto Max jackpot.

A single ticket matched all seven numbers in Tuesday’s draw, claiming the $10 million prize.

This winning ticket was sold in St. Catharines, located in southern Ontario, as reported by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.

Apart from the grand prize, no one hit six out of seven numbers plus the bonus to snag the second-place prize of $134,578.10.

However, 20 tickets did manage to get six out of seven numbers, each earning $6,856.20.

The jackpot of $10 million also included 10 maxplus prizes worth $100,000 each.

Two of those maxplus prizes were won by individual tickets.

One was sold in North Bay while another was purchased in Winnipeg.

A ticket bought on OLG. ca also scored a win of $100,000 on Encore.

This marks the second time in a row that someone has taken home the jackpot.

In last Friday’s draw (Aug. 21), a different ticket matched all seven numbers for a whopping $55 million jackpot. That winning ticket was purchased in Quebec.

During that same draw, there were also ten maxplus prizes of $100,000 awarded to separate tickets.

The Lotto Max jackpot is once again estimated at around $10 million for this upcoming draw on Friday, Aug. 28.

This will also come with ten maxplus prizes valued at $100,000 each up for grabs.

Lotto Max is a nationwide lottery game costing $6 per play.

The draws take place every Tuesday and Friday.
