Toronto Ontario Provincial Police have announced the arrest of a suspect in a murder case in Simcoe, while also searching for a missing person connected to the investigation.
Authorities took the suspect into custody on Friday and are looking for a man who is currently unaccounted for

Ontario Provincial Police have confirmed that they arrested one individual as part of a homicide investigation in Simcoe and continue their efforts to find a missing person related to it.
Authorities report that officers were called to a residence on Head Street South on October 5, where they discovered the body of a 71-year-old woman.
A 45-year-old man from Simcoe was taken into custody on Friday under suspicion of second-degree murder, and he is expected to appear in court Saturday.
Sgt. Ed Sanchuk has verified that this man is indeed the son of the deceased woman.
An official statement from OPP indicates that they are also worried about the well-being of a 49-year-old man who went missing after being last seen on Head Street South on October 4.
The missing individual is described as white, approximately 5’10”, with long dirty blond hair typically styled in a ponytail and sporting a long beard.
