The Ontario Provincial Police have arrested a man from Leamington after executing a search warrant on Fox Street this Wednesday.
Officers from the Essex County and Lambton County Community Street Crime Units, along with the OPP Emergency Response Team, the K-9 unit, and the Tactics and Response Unit, arrived at the residence shortly before 5 a. m.
A 28-year-old man was taken into custody without any trouble.
He is facing 11 charges including making death threats, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, having an unauthorized firearm, careless use of a firearm, and assault with a weapon.
The suspect is currently held in custody while awaiting a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor.
