Owen Riegling, a music star from Bruce County, is set to perform later this month at one of Ontario’s top country music events.

Mildmay’s own Owen Riegling has been announced as a performer at the Country Music Association of Ontario Awards on May 31, 2026 in Mississauga’s Port Credit area.

Riegling, who has won multiple awards and is a nominee for 2026, has been gaining national recognition lately, including a recent performance at the Grand Ole Opry. At this year’s CMAOntario Awards, he is nominated for Single of the Year, Songwriter(s) of the Year, and Male Artist of the Year. He also took home five awards in 2025.

The CMAOntario Festival & Awards takes place from May 29 to 31 at various venues in Port Credit, with the awards ceremony wrapping up the weekend at Port Credit Memorial Arena.

This event showcases a full lineup of performers, featuring Jason Blaine and Sam Mc Daid as hosts along with previously announced acts like Sully Burrows, Olivia Mae Graham, Jessica Sevier, Elyse Saunders, School House, Tyler Lorette, Cory Marks, Les Rats d’Swompe, and The Western Swing Authority.
