RELATED: Photos: Snowstorm hits Ontario, leading to risky travel and flight delays
Highway 21 from Grand Bend to Port Elgin, and Highway 4 from Exeter to Clinton are closed on Monday due to the harsh weather.
Navigating sections of highways 6 and 10 will be particularly risky on Monday night and Tuesday due to low visibility and the reflective quality of the snow.

Lake-effect snow squalls making travel hazardous through Tuesday
Strong and perilous lake-effect snow squalls that began in southern Ontario on Monday will persist into Tuesday. Snow squalls will continue overnight into Tuesday as these bands move across the snowbelt areas, even reaching some parts of the GTA at times –resulting in more snowfall and decreased visibility at times. Northwesterly winds will keep gusting at 40-70 km/h on Tuesday, creating localized whiteouts with blowing snow. Considerable snowfall is likely for the Kitchener-Waterloo region, along with the Dundalk Highlands, including Orangeville.Source link
