RELATED: Photos: Snowstorm slams Ontario, dangerous travel conditions and flight delays
Highway 21 from Grand Bend to Port Elgin, and Highway 4 from Exeter to Clinton are closed on Monday due to the poor weather.
Travel along sections of highways 6 and 10 will be particularly risky on Monday night and Tuesday because of limited visibility and the reflective quality of the snow.

Lake-effect snow squalls making travel difficult through Tuesday
Strong lake-effect snow squalls that began in southern Ontario on Monday will carry on into Tuesday. The snow squalls will continue overnight into Tuesday as these bands drift across the snowbelt regions, even reaching parts of the GTA at times –leading to more snowfall accumulation and lowered visibility occasionally. Northwesterly winds will keep gusting at 40-70 km/h on Tuesday, resulting in localized whiteouts with blowing snow. Considerable snowfall is likely for the Kitchener-Waterloo area and the Dundalk Highlands, including Orangeville.Source link
