A Pickering elementary school went into a Hold and Secure on Tuesday morning after receiving a phone threat.

Durham Police arrived just before noon, and no one was allowed to enter William Dunbar Public while they looked into the situation.

The school was cleared, and the Hold and Secure status was lifted around 2:20 p. m.

No details about the incident have been shared yet, but police are urging anyone with information to contact them at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2526.
