Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae has revealed almost $90,000 in funding for projects in Perth County.
This financial support, according to a press release from Rae’s office, comes from the provincial government’s Rural Ontario Development fund. The program represents “a $20 million investment by the province to strengthen local economies, support rural workers and assist communities in planning for long-term growth.”
In Perth County, Klomp’s Home and Garden will receive just over $8,600 for its Main Greenhouse Roadside Appeal project. Broken Rail Brewing is getting a little more than $300 to improve equipment and accessibility.
Moreover, Perth County is set to gain over $70,000 for tourism wayfinding signage, while the Perth Farmhouse will get $10,000 aimed at winery diversification to promote year-round tourism.
