The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) confirmed that Christo Allison Richards, aged 34 and from Ottawa, was the man found critically injured in Perth’s Last Duel Park earlier this month.

The victim was located with serious injuries at the park in eastern Ontario on April 11 and later passed away in the hospital, according to police reports.

Initially, his death was deemed suspicious; however, police later indicated they believed it might have been a targeted attack.

Last week, OPP mentioned they were having difficulties contacting his friends and family.

No updates regarding suspects or arrests were provided on Tuesday. Multiple OPP teams are working on the investigation alongside the provincial coroner and forensic pathology offices.
