Local police have named a 34-year-old man from Ottawa as the victim of a homicide discovered in a Perth park.
Officers responded on April 12 at about 3:15 p. m. in Perth, Ontario, where they found an individual with severe injuries. The victim was located in Last Duel Park next to the river.
In a statement released on April 21, authorities identified the victim as Christo Allison Richards. They suspect this incident was targeted and believe there is no general risk to the public. The investigation continues with assistance from various units, the Office of the Chief Coroner, and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
