A recent search in an Ottawa Valley city resulted in the arrest of a 25-year-old on trafficking charges.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported that they were investigating a potential drug operation in the City of Pembroke. On Sept. 23, they executed a search warrant at a residence with several other units.
During the search, officers discovered a quantity of suspected cocaine and Dilaudid pills, along with some Canadian cash.
As a result, the 25-year-old from Ottawa is facing these charges:
Possession for the purpose of trafficking a schedule I substance (cocaine) Possession for the purpose of trafficking a schedule I substance (opioid) Possession of proceeds obtained by crime under $5,000 Fail to comply with probation order – three counts
He’s currently being held for a bail hearing and is expected to stay in custody until his next court date.
