According to Niagara Regional Police, the accident took place in the north end of St. Catharines near North Service Road and YMCA Drive, just off the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) highway.
A Honda CRV driving north struck a GO bus heading south.
Police reported that there were 18 passengers on board the bus. Of those, six people – five passengers and the bus driver – were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
