Three teenagers were treated for injuries after their vehicle crashed into a tree near Old Carp Road in the west end late Thursday night, according to Ottawa first responders.
Firefighters reported they received the call about the accident near Old Second Line Road around 9:40 p. m.
It took them roughly 20 minutes to rescue two individuals trapped inside the wreckage.
Paramedics stated that there were three male teens in the car. The driver sustained critical injuries, one passenger had serious injuries, and the third experienced minor injuries.
All three were taken to a hospital in stable condition, according to paramedics.
The driver was 17 years old, and Ottawa police are asking anyone with video footage to come forward.
