Oshawa has once again earned a spot on the list of Canada’s most rodent-infested cities.

Orkin Canada has their yearly ranking of the top 25 cities with rat and mouse issues, based on the number of treatments conducted from August 1, 2024 to July 31, 2025.

This year, Oshawa is ranked at number 25, which is the same position they held last year. This is down from number 22 in 2023.

In Orkin Canada’s list for Ontario’s most infested cities, Oshawa placed at number 10 while Whitby was positioned at number 20.

Toronto maintained its title as the city with the highest rat population in both Ontario and Canada – a distinction they’ve held since 2023.
