A boy in Oshawa has been taken by air ambulance to a trauma center in Toronto after being hit by a tree on Thursday afternoon, according to Durham police.
Emergency services received a call around 12:10 p. m. about a young person struck by a tree near Oxford Street and Dwight Avenue, and they found that the boy had no vital signs, police stated in an email.
Paramedics located the boy, who is under the age of 12, and provided medical aid, successfully reviving him, as reported by police.
The child was subsequently transported to a trauma center.
