While details about how the collision occurred have not been disclosed by police, it is known that Northeys Bay Road is quite winding in this area.

The authorities closed off a section of Northeys Bay Road in both directions for several hours to carry out an investigation and document what happened.

If anyone has information or dashcam footage regarding this incident, they are encouraged to reach out to the Peterborough OPP at 1-888-310-1122. To provide information anonymously, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or submit a tip online at ontariocrimestoppers. ca.
