With deep sorrow, we share the news of Mr. Victor Nathaniel Henry Pelletier’s passing at the age of 55. Vic was a proud member of Fort William First Nation and was born on July 31, 1970.

Family and friends knew him as Hys or Hyson. He loved watching hockey and baseball, but his favorite times were spent with Dad enjoying wrestling. One of Vic’s biggest joys was being around his nephews and nieces.

Throughout his life, Vic held various jobs, from firefighting to working as a labourer with the union. He also dedicated many years helping his father in the church, attending funerals, weddings, opening prayers, and regular church services by his side.

Victor is survived by his father, Reverend Mr. Victor Pelletier Sr., siblings Kelvin (Denise), Anne (Rocky), Shelley (Wil), and Tara (Scott), along with nephews and nieces Amanda, Jesse, Cody, Krystal, Kelvin Jr., Jasmine, Zamber, Savannah, Camryn, Luke, Matthew, and Max. He also leaves behind many uncles, aunts, cousins and his loyal companion Big Boy who never left him.

Vic was predeceased by his dear mother Maureen Pelletier; brother Timmy; nephews John Labelle and Shay Boucher; grandparents Frank and Kathleen Pelletier; Patrick and Annie Mc Guire.

The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Family and friends are invited to gather for Funeral Mass at 11:00 am in St. Anne’s Mission Church led by Rev. Biju Mathew. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Friends can visit Tuesday evening from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at St. Anne’s Mission Church where Vigil Prayers will be held at 7:00 pm. Arrangements are managed by Blake Funeral Chapel located at 200 May Street S.
